Boys Rules Lacrosse Program is run by a steering committee of volunteers under the auspices of the Pittsfield Boys and Girls Club. With mutual goals in developing physical skills and coordination, as well as fostering leadership, self-esteem, cooperation, character, integrity and morality; we offer boys and girls, grades 2-8 in Central Berkshire County (and beyond) an opportunity to develop lacrosse fundamentals, excellent team dynamics, respect of the game, and sportsmanship.
 
Boys' Rules Lacrosse Program is a member of the Berkshire Youth Lacrosse League and games are played in accordance with the League  Rules.  All players are required to have current US Lacrosse memberships and Pittsfield Boys and Girls Club memberships.
 
Boys Rules Lacrosse Program historically has served between  70-80 families per year. And since 2002, has had more than 400 youth utilize the program.

Boys Rules Lacrosse Program has teams in three grade-level categories; Average team size ranges from 14-22.
Bantams, grades 2-4, practice usually two to three imes a week, and games are limited to less than 15 per season. They may participate in tournaments and/or jamborees. Players in this modified travel may miss occasional practices of games but will not be penalized for such misses.
Junior grades 5-6, and Senior grades 7-8 practice usually three times a week and have 14 or more games each season, they participate in tournaments and/or jamborees. If extended travel players miss practices or game unless due to illness, academic or family issues, they will forfeit playing time and may be dismissed from the program according to playing time guidelines (see below). When participation numbers warrant more than one team at each level, 2-3 try-out sessions will be scheduled pre-season to determine placement (see Policies)
